Welcome to GeomHistory.com. This site presents an high-level overview of the history of geometry with short biographies of the major geometers who contributed to it's evolution.

Basically, we are adding more detail to better describe the work of each geometer, and to clarify the evolution of new ideas and discoveries. New sections are also being added. This already includes:
- An expanded Ancient Geometry History, that is now avaiable as a Kindle eBook, with
more details about Babylonian, Indian, and Chinese ancient geometry.
- A new section for medieval Europen geometry
- Extensive additions and revisions for Greek and Modern geometry (ongoing)
- Archimedes’ method for integrating indivisibles to help discover new geometry
- The evolution of geometric methods that led to the discovery of differential and integral calculus
